Tricks to Increase Google AdSense Revenue using ColorZilla

ColorZilla - A Firefox Plug-in
Plugins and Add-ons can be utilized to increase the AdSense earnings from your websites and blogs. There are several Firefox plugins available that can be very helpful to increase Google AdSense click-through rate. These plugins can be used while designing your web-pages or while selecting text colors. ColorZilla is such a plug-in that can definitely increase the click-through rate of Google Ads. After installing ColorZilla on your 'Firefox browser', you can check the RGB (Red, Green, Blue) values for any point in your browser. 'ColorZilla' puts an eyedropper icon in the status bar. When you click on it, you will get a cross-hair cursor, which shows the RGB values of the pixel under the cross-hair in the status bar. These color readings can save decent amount of time to find out the exact text color of various headings and text. You can use the same color scheme as of the website while promoting your hubs and other content. You can then change the settings and text color of your Google Ads to exactly match with your content.

By using ColorZilla, you can also measure the distance between two points on the page. You can also zoom-in and zoom-out content to easily get the color-readings and to calculate the distance between any two points on the page. There are various other features that can be useful while designing your page. One such feature is ‘Webpage DOM Color Analyzer’; you can use this feature to find out all elements on the webpage having similar color scheme. You can also find the CSS rules for the given color.

This snapshot shows the RGB values both in decimal and hex. After that, it is showing the relative position of the cursor. In this case it is 21, 149; these are the relative distance between two points measured in pixels. 21 is horizontal distance and 149 is vertical distance represented by X and Y respectively. After that value ‘h1’ is indicating type of the text; in this case it is ‘Heading-1’, means ‘Hub Traffic Statistics’ has used ‘h1’ heading tag, and if you will check ‘YOUR HUBS’, it has used ‘h3’ heading tag. This way you can analyze any webpage and its content and utilize this information to design your own page without needing prior technical expertise. Now you are ready to maximize your Google AdSense revenue to make more money and your webpage will also look much better with same color combinations.

How to triple Google Adsense Revenue

ncrease Google Adsense revenue by 100% to 200%

This is an Adsense tip I shared on my blog and that helped double or even triple Google Adsense revenue on my blogs. The actual results varied across blogs, but my revenue never decreased, having even tripled in certain cases.

Three Adsense link units

My tip to increase Adsense revenue is to place three Adsense link units side by side. You can use the 120x90, 160x90, 180x90 or the 200x90 sizes, and the idea is to line up the Adsense link units side by side, at the very top of your post/blog. The final result, that you can see in the screenshot, will look something like a "menu".

Test, test, test

Although I obtained great results with displaying the Adsense link units in this fashion, there are things you should test. The most important of which is the color of the links. From my tests, I found that bright colored links achieved double the click-through rate of links with the same color as the text on the page. The color of the "ads by Google" border also affected the CTR (click-through-rate). Other things you might consider testing are the sizes and the number of links (4 or 5) in each link you.

Other things to keep in mind

If you decide to test these Adsense link units, which I highly recommend you do, the click through rate on this channel will be somewhat deceiving. If you set-up a separate channel for the link units, and you put the three ads side by side like I explained, for every page impression there will be three link unit impressions. This will make the CTR on the link units one third of what it would be if you had a single a Adsense ad. So if you want to compare the CTR with say a 336x280 unit, you should multiply the CTR by three. Another option is just to compare the total number of clicks that spot gets, or the page eCPM.

Like I said before, I strongly recommend you test out this layout on your blog. My results have just been incredible.

The most efficient feature I like about Adbrite is, approval and rejection of each advertisement in users' control before it's displayed on their websites or blogs. It helps to display advertisement related to the content of your blog. Furthermore you are allowed to modify the style of advertisement according to your blog format. Adbrite offers ads by content, banners, in-line text ads(such as Kontera or Infolink), and full page ads. 2) Bidvertiser

Bidvertiser is another good alternative of Google Adsense. It's somewhat similar to Google Adsense and offering you only contextual and feed advertisements. Their ad formats look such as Google Adsense ads. The most important thing I like about Bidvertiser is that they offer your ad space to the highest bidder. So Bidvertiser could be a good choice for you. However, these ads cannot be used along with Adsense but it could be a great choice if you are not having an adsense account.

Now onwards, each time you create a new Hub, Hubpages embeds Kontera In-Text advertising for you. Your blog will require good page impression to get approval in Kontera. However, they offers good customer support and pays on time. What I like about Kontera is their affiliate program. Kontera has it's own affiliate program which can help you make some extra cash. If a publisher sign up through your affiliate link, you will receive a bonus of 10% of their Net Revenue for the first year with Kontera. However, I would suggest to go through their terms and condition before you go with Kontera Affiliate Program.
