How to use Bing Web Search Engine to increase Traffic to your BLOG N SITES

n my quest to find new ways to increase my Hub traffic I have now come across another great way to do just that and I want to share it with you.

I have been adding my Hub URL’s to the web search engine Bing and have been noticing constant visits now from Bing when I check my Hub traffic sources.

I have to admit Bing has a great homepage as they change the background every day to keep things fresh.

The background usually has some information about the image which is a very cool feature. If you click on the information you will be taken to a webpage

The Bing search engine was unveiled May 28, 2009 by the CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer and was fully usable on June 3, 2009. Bing was formerly MSN search and Windows Live Search. Bing is currently the 4th largest web search engine according to query searches.

Google is number 1 and I am sure you are not surprised, Yahoo is lucky number 2 which is also no surprise and Baidu is number3. If you are not familiar with Baidu it is a Chinese search engine.

If you want to take my advice and submit your URL to Bing then you need to go to this page first of all. Bing link submission webpage.

When you get to this web page it is quite easy actually to submit your link. The page does not have a ton of information or instructions on it. Basically what you do is paste or type your link into the box that says “type the URL of your homepage”.

It says that the Bing bot will search your homepage for links but I don’t leave that to chance so I submit each Hub I create.

The submission page also states that it finds most web pages but if yours does not appear on Bing then submit your link. I searched a couple different Hub titles that I have and found one immediately called Top 5 Adam Sandler Songs and then searched for another called Lose weight the Old Fashion Way and searched the 1st 6 pages returned on Bing and the subject had changed a bit on those back pages leading me to believe that link couldn’t be found by Bing for some reason.
