How to use Bing Web Search Engine to increase Traffic to your BLOG N SITES

n my quest to find new ways to increase my Hub traffic I have now come across another great way to do just that and I want to share it with you.

I have been adding my Hub URL’s to the web search engine Bing and have been noticing constant visits now from Bing when I check my Hub traffic sources.

I have to admit Bing has a great homepage as they change the background every day to keep things fresh.

The background usually has some information about the image which is a very cool feature. If you click on the information you will be taken to a webpage

The Bing search engine was unveiled May 28, 2009 by the CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer and was fully usable on June 3, 2009. Bing was formerly MSN search and Windows Live Search. Bing is currently the 4th largest web search engine according to query searches.

Google is number 1 and I am sure you are not surprised, Yahoo is lucky number 2 which is also no surprise and Baidu is number3. If you are not familiar with Baidu it is a Chinese search engine.

If you want to take my advice and submit your URL to Bing then you need to go to this page first of all. Bing link submission webpage.

When you get to this web page it is quite easy actually to submit your link. The page does not have a ton of information or instructions on it. Basically what you do is paste or type your link into the box that says “type the URL of your homepage”.

It says that the Bing bot will search your homepage for links but I don’t leave that to chance so I submit each Hub I create.

The submission page also states that it finds most web pages but if yours does not appear on Bing then submit your link. I searched a couple different Hub titles that I have and found one immediately called Top 5 Adam Sandler Songs and then searched for another called Lose weight the Old Fashion Way and searched the 1st 6 pages returned on Bing and the subject had changed a bit on those back pages leading me to believe that link couldn’t be found by Bing for some reason.

Free Targeted Web Traffic

The world has dramatically changed over the past few years, and most of us have been affected by the ongoing financial crisis. However, we need not be entirely pessimistic. There are still opportunities for us to get free targeted web traffic and build profitable businesses during tough economic times.

I'm sure you know better than to think that pulling a get rich quick scheme online is a feasible idea. People try and fail everyday to scam their way into wealth and it never ever works. Making money takes time and effort, and in this economy, it's harder than ever.

However, there is a simple truth that never changes, even in times of recession - driving TARGETED traffic to your sites has always been (and will always be) the key to making money from online ventures.

It's not classified information. It is a known fact. Targeted traffic is what will create wealth for you. The thing is, obtaining this traffic is a chore. Time, effort, money and patience are all necessary. It might take more time than you expect to see any real results.

Experience has proven that first-page placement on major search engines is the unsurpassed method of ensuring targeted and stable traffic to your website. The use of niche keywords is a prime method for getting this first-page placement for your site.

Since September 2008 the Free Traffic System team has assisted numerous webmasters in obtaining first-page placement by generating high value backlinks.

The Free Traffic “success test team” is made up of webmasters and site owners, just like you & me, with sites marketing different niches. The monitored proof of results are available for your review on the official website of the Free Traffic System.

Would you believe that these individuals achieved high rankings in most search engines, and more traffic to their websites exclusively with free targeted web traffic? It’s true. Not only that, webmasters made more sales, got more subscribers, received more clicks and got more and sign-ups on lead capturing forms. All this was achieved through an ingenious method of generating safe relevant backlinks.

The time is quickly approaching that you will notice advertisers are spending less online. However they will continue to pay the websites that have targeted traffic - since this is the only method that the advertisers can use to maintain themselves online. Fortunately, Free Traffic System offers a zero-cost solution. And in these troubled times, how can you get any better than free?

I have been using free traffic system for the past 3 months and have gained over 320 one way backlinks and counting... Each link has remained in tact and untampered with on every blog that my articles were published on. This has enabled me to attract an unlimited amount of free targeted web traffic to my sites and hubs. I highly recommend Free Traffic System.

How to get free traffic quickly

How to get free traffic quickly

There are several strategies you might find that would help optimize the prospects of your internet site or business in generating traffic. While there are paths to jumpstart your traffic flows, many sites don't have the resources that others have to generate more traffic for your internet site. Well, you do not have to spend a cent ; all that you need is the correct perspective and a large amount of enthusiasm. You must also have the drive and persistence to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your internet site.

How sweet it is to have more traffic for your website without spending a single cent. Now it is a sure bet that many sites have articles that offer tips and guiding principles in the simple way to drive traffic only using free techniques. As it is possible you do not need to hurry a single cent, it might take time, to assert truthfully, I am not going to beat round the bush with you. You improve possibilities by paying for your adverts, but at least you get a reasonable chance with a number of these free strategies I am about to tell you.

Milk web-based forums and online communities. The brilliant thing about forums and online communities is that you can focus on a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you're looking for. You can debate about tons of things about the niche that you represent or offer. Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you'll be prepared. With online communities and forums you can build a name for your company.Show them what you are made from and amaze them with your range of experience about the topic, with that you can build a name and enhance trust with the folks in your experience and information.

You may use newsletters. Provide folk with a catalogue of your products and engaging and entertaining articles. If you make it actually fascinating and entertaining, more folk will join your ezine and endorse it to folks. The more folk who signs up for your ezine, the more folks there'll be that may go to your internet site raising your traffic.

While the 1st two strategies above are great, here's another : Another great concept is trading links with other sites. You do not have to spend a cent. All you've got to do is reach a deal with another web master. With swapping links, the efforts both sites do will benefit both sites. Each traffic that goes to the site could probably click the link of your internet site and visit your website too. This works rather well particularly when both sites feature the same niche.

Free Visitors - Grab Them Here

first let's look at the main reasons why Internet marketers fail to generate sufficient traffic. There are three of them:
  1. They use of old-fashioned, obsolete traffic generation methods
  2. They use traffic generation methods improperly
  3. They use not enough traffic generation methods

You see, traffic generation is like an old car. If you take good care of it, you might still be able to get to your destination but it will take time. That's why you need to buy a new one. In other words, you need to use more modern methods to generate traffic more easily.

However, even if you do buy a new car but use it improperly, it will most likely break down. The same is with traffic generation. Even though you know all the modern traffic generation methods but you use them in a wrong way, you'll see no results and eventually end up wasting your time.

Finally, if you buy a new car but you only use it once a month, the benefits will be mere. When generating traffic, the same rule applies. You need to use as many methods as you can because only then you'll increase your exposure and get more visitors.

i can see many people failing on the Net because of those three reasons. I feel like they have a lack of knowledge and that's why I decided to provide a solution.

Grabbing Your Free Visitors

"Grabbing Your Free Visitors" e-book is absolutely free and it provides you solutions to all three major problems by:

  1. Replacing the old-fashioned traffic generation methods with the new, more efficient ones.

How to analyze and improve bounce rate with Google Analytics

In this article you can find what is bounce rate, how to measure bounce rate, how to analyze different aspects of bounce rate with Google Analytics and tips to improve bounce rate.

Bounce rate can be connected with the number of people who entered the site on a page and left right away. They visit only one page on the site and go away from site. We can say that those visitors are bounced.

A visitor can bounce by:
  • Clicking on a link to a page on a different web site

  • Typing other URL

  • Closing an open window or tab

  • Clicking the "Back" button to leave the site

  • Session timeout

Bounce rate, according to Google Analytics, is the percentage of single-page visits. If we have bounce rate of 80% it means that 8 of 10 visitor come on the page of site A and then leave the site without single visit of any other page on site A.

So we can conclude lower bounce rate is better
  • bounce rate of 50% is better than bounce rate of 70%

  • bounce rate of 30% is even better than 50%...

Main advantage of bounce rate is that it is simple to understand. It tells you if visitors leave your site right away or if they actually navigate it and read it carefully. Everyone would agree that this is very important information.

Measuring bounce rate

We can measure bounce rate with a help of Google Analytics. Google Analytics is free to sign up and offer many indicators to follow your site. In my opinion it is most powerful web tool for tracking website statistics.

To view the bounce rates for your website in Google Analytics, go to the Bounce Rate report under Visitors > Visitor Trending > Bounce Rate.

Bounce rate in google analytics

Tracking bounce rate with Google Analytics tool can be very helpful. You can make some change on your site, track bounce rate in time interval and follow what is happening with bounce rate. Is it stay, grow or become lower?

Tracking bounce rate of individual pages

Very important is to know that with Google Analytics you are not restricted on tracking bounce rate only for your whole site. You can track bounce rate of every individual page on your site.

To track bounce rate of individual pages with Google Analytics you need:
  • Click Content > Top Content

  • Click on Page you want to track

  • Track bounce rate for individual pages with Google Analytics

  • Content detail page for chosen page will be opened, choose bounce rate and you can see bounce rate graph for given page

  • Content detail for individual page with Google Analytics

Bounce rate by traffic sources and keywords

Visitors coming from different sources can behave differently. For example visitors coming from search engines try to find some answers and their behavior is much different from visitors coming from similar web site who can be more interested to your niche.
You can track bounce rate by different traffic sources with help of Google Analytics. Go to Traffic Sources > All traffic sources and you can discover bounce rate for traffic sources to your site.

Bounce rate by traffic source in Google Analytics

There is also option to analyze bounce rate by keywords. For example you can find keywords with high bounce rate and put some new content using this keywords.
Let's say you have keywords "upload javascript to blogger" with 100% of bounce rate. First you must find landing page (landing page is page a web user reaches after clicking on the link in the Search Engines results page) for these keywords. After that you can add content connected to keywords or add new page to site with content about keywords and on landing page add links to this new page.
To see bounce rate by keywords go to Traffic Sources > Keywords.

Time and bounce rate in Google Analytics

Time has no effect on the Google Analytics calculation of bounce rate. A visit that lasts for 30 minutes with only one pageview is considered as a bounce. However, a visit that lasts for only 5 seconds with 2 pageviews is not considered as a bounce.

Google analytics session is able to tolerate 29 minutes of inactivity. A session will start upon landing on a site. If the user chooses to leave the site and navigate to another website, the session will still continue for a maximum of 29 minutes. As long as the user returns to the initial site and makes a click, it will not be considered as a bounce.

Tips to improve bounce rate

  • You can start with your most visited pages. Optimize most visited pages with high bounce rate and follow bounce rate for those pages with Google Analytics.

  • Link between your own articles as reference - if you have excellent article on Page A and have no links on other pages of your site visitor will read article and be bounced

  • Try to find right keywords for your page - many visitors come from search engines, if they don't find expected content they leave

  • Some people claim that web design is most important factor

  • For blogs good advice may be to add sidebar with Top 10 articles or something similar

  • By studying our site statistics we can find out which pages and keywords are most efficient, and by doing so, find a pattern for a better optimization.

  • Write interesting and useful articles

  • Check speed of your site - if it is too slow, visitors will go away

  • Check how your site working on other browsers - if site don't work well on Chrome you will loose all surfers how using Chrome

  • If you’re out-linking excessively, try to reduce the number of outgoing links

Add Meta Tags To Increase Visitor In Blogger

HOW to Use Meta Tag To Increase Visitors..

The META tag is primarily used to help search engines better index a document by supplying additional information about the document. The types of additional information that META tags can provide include an author's name, a description or short abstract of a document, or a set of keywords for indexing a document. Providing this type of additional information should increase the chance that users will find your documents -- the information they want -- on the Web. In addition to providing indexing information, META tags can also be used to refresh a Web page or to redirect a user from one Web page to another.

Not all search engines use the META tag. For example, AltaVista and InfoSeek use META tags for indexing but Excite does not. Because Penn uses the AltaVista search utility, document developers are encouraged to use META tags to improve the retrieval of their documents by the Penn community.

The META tag is part of the header information of an HTML document. It has a start tag but does not have a corresponding end tag. The tag is placed after the TITLE end tag; and more than one META tag can be used within a document, depending on the type of information that you want to provide.

1. Log in into blogger
2. Click Layout
3. Click EDIT HTML tab

4. Click Download Full template and please back up first. (important)
5. Search for the following code

< data="’blog name=’all-head-content’/>

4. Now place the following code just below

< content="’DESCRIPTION" name="’description’/">

< content="’KEYWORDS" name="’keywords’/">

< content="’AUTHOR" name="’author’/">

#Now just change ext in red with your own text. ‘Keywords’ meta tag can have any number of keywords.

Analyzing Meta Tags

Adding meta tags to your website/blog is not enough. You should check if they are proper. Meta Tag Analyzer can be used for this purpose. I use web based meta tag analyzer from SeoCentro.com It does not require you to register. Just fill your website URL and anti-spam code and you will be produced with a ‘Meta Tag Analysis Report‘ .

You should have meta tags relevancy more than 90%. If it is not so, try changing your meta tags content. Please do not include many keywords as some search engines will ban your website. Also, do not repeat the keyword more than 3 times. If everything works fine, you will see your meta description appear below your website title in search results.

How To Use Digg To Get More Traffic

How to Use Digg to Drive Blog Traffic and some tips also to use digg to drive maximum traffic and not get banned by digg and make maximum use of it........

What is Digg?

Diggis a social news site that can help drive traffic to your blog. However, Digg is the biggest social news site on the Internet controlled by a handful of top users. How can you get your blog posts noticed in the fast-paced world of Digg?

# Digg The Original Source

Digg users are very particular about how the site is used. There are a variety of rules that Digg expects users to follow. One of the most important rules of Digg etiquette is to always submit the original source of a story. If you're submitting a blog post or page that expounds on the original source of a story by adding new information or opinions, that's okay, but make sure your submission adds value to the conversation or story. If it doesn't, find the original source and submit that instead.

# Don't Digg Your Own Posts

Digg will penalize users who submit their own content too frequently. If you want your blog posts to have a chance at making it to the main page of Digg (and generating a lot of traffic to your blog), don't be the first to submit your post. Ask a friend or colleague to submit it first.

# Digg several Articles At Time

When you ask your friends to Digg your blog post, make sure they Digg more than just your post while they're at it. Digg keeps tabs on people who just Digg a single item while they're on the Digg website in order to penalize spammers (particularly those who are paid to Digg specific stories). Ask your friends to Digg your post as well as a few other stories of interest or on the main page of Digg at the same time.

# Use Good Title And Description In Your Digg

When you Digg something, give it a good title and description. The title and description are what you're using to convince other users to click on the submission, read the article and hopefully Digg it, too. Sell the article with a great title and description to increase your chances of getting more Diggs for it.

# Be An Active Digg User

Digg users who are very active have a better chance of getting their Digg submissions noticed and attracting more Diggs to them from other users. Submit various posts (particularly breaking news items), add friends, comment, and add an avatar to your profile to make your Diggs stand out from other submissions in Digg's list format. The more active you are, the more people will notice you and become interested in investigating your submissions, which will ultimately lead to more Digg opportunities for your own blog posts. More Diggs for your own blog posts equal more traffic to your blog.

# Just Make New Friends

This is the key. You need to connect ot other users and thus have many friends on Digg. Why? Because, when you submit a story - you can invite your friends to Digg it. You can even legally setup a reciprocal digg exchange… “you digg my story, i digg your story”. You can do this by sending a private message, known as a “shout” to your friends. Just digg their story first and then tell them - I dugg you, please digg my story now … and include the link of your story that is on the digg site (not the offsite link that is on your website or blog).

Another way you can invite them to digg, instead of shouting (private messaging) them - is by directly clicking o nthe “share this news” with all my friends link that appears under the story post on digg. This is quick but not as effective as a personal shout. Use it once you have over, say 200 friends on digg….

Yes, you heard that right. 200 friends. That should be your target. Why? Simple - because you can invite them to digg your story. The more friends, the more diggs.

Little Clever Trick

There is a tool available, that can automatically keep adding random friends to your digg network. Its called Digg Friend Adding Automator. Its simple to use. All you need to configure is one file, with your username and password on Digg. Then run it the software (no install needed - jsut a simple double click). Then take your shoes off and sit back - while it adds friends to your profile at the rate of one every 5 seconds.

There is a precaution here. Do not add more than around 20 friends in one shot. This may alert the digg admins and you can get banned permanently. Add 20 friends… then shut down the software for about 15 minutes or so.. and then re-run it for another 20 friends and so on. Dont add more than around 50 per day, and stop at around 200 to 250 for about a week. Then rinse and repeat.

If you cant get hold of this great tool - you can still quickly randomly add friends on digg by simply clicking on the “add as friend” link besides their names, next to articles they have submitted.

Now, when you have soooo many friends, you can invite them to come vote on your story. Ofcourse the key here is to firstly make sure that your story is unique and will arise the interest of over around 70% of readers. That should be enough. Once you invite them and share your story with your friends, after a day - start contacting friends who have sent your shouts (private messages) to digg their story -and start digging their story and in return ask thme to digg yours.

It is extremely important that your story gets popular (large number of diggs) at a fast rate - and before a lot of time passes by (probably around 10 to 20 days) . Why? Because, by then it could become stale news! Also, dont submit irrelevant and boring news, or stuff thats already been submitted. It will only be “burried” out by the community.

# Commenting on Digg for traffic

Another easier way to get traffic (although in much lower numbers and probably a very very low fractional amount) is by posting comments on popular stories with high diggs. Just make sure what you write is relevant to the story and then leave a catchy phrase and link (signature) at the end of your comment.

# The Onsite “Digg This” Button

If you have a fairly large number of readers to your blog, you can submit your blog posts to Digg and then insert a “digg this” button in near your blog post … as an onsite “digg this” link. This way visitors or readers of your blog can vote your story up the Digg ranks. This works only on blogs that have a large number of readers and visitors - so its only powerfull then.
